About Spanish Listening Adventure

I built this app to improve my own Spanish listening comprehension by listening to stories instead of just studying grammar and vocabulary. Finding a native speaker to practice listening with regularly isn't always easy, so I thought AI could help fill that gap for now.

Right now, the spoken audio in the app is generated using text-to-speech, aiming for a natural Spanish (Spain) voice — not real recorded voices. It's a placeholder while I figure out the best way to get natural, native-speaker audio into the app. Voice quality and availability can vary depending on your browser and device.

Longer term, I'd like to move to real native-speaker audio so the listening practice feels more authentic. For now, this is a first step to see how much AI-generated speech can help with Spanish listening practice.
